There was an increase of 14% in number of guest for the whole 2017 as compared to 2016. However, part of the increase (aprox. 4%) is due to the new reports that Greenland Statistics has received in 2017 from hotels not registered in previous years. This fact has affected especially two areas, Semersooq East (20% of the guests) and Kujalleq (10% of the guests). The Qaasuitsup area has be influenced but in a minor level.
